Meet Madame Vipa

Madame Vipa in half-bloom

 

This orchid is called Dendrobium Madam Vipa. The flower has mint green sepals and petals, and a purple lip when it is in half-bloom.

The shade of its petals and sepals vary according to the sunlight’s angle.

After one day, the petals and sepals of the flower turn into greenish-white.

Two days after, the second bud blooms.
