The Euphorbia oddity

This is the only specimen of a crested Euphorbia milii in my garden. It started out as a normal stem cutting but grew into a cristate form probably due to being next to E. lactea variegata cristata.

Its interesting feature is the red spines  at the top of its crest.

I just hope that its flower clusters will be as deep red as its mother plant. I’ll post a follow up photo when its in bloom.
