The hybrid named Pachyveria
I really don’t know what the botanists were thinking when they cross the Pachyphytum and the Echeveria. I mean, a lot of things could go wrong when two breeds mix. Fortunately, the hybrid came out handsomely; the Pachyveria inherited the thick leaves of the Pachyphylum and the many-leaved rosettes of the Echeveria. The plant in the photo is one of the hybrids with bright green foliage that are commercially available here in the Philippines.
